Why is Indian food so addictive?
You probably aren't craving Indian food and spices, you are probably just hungry and your tastes have changed to liking Indian food.. you're not actually craving it specifically..
Its like when a child is hot and thirsty they need water which is what the body is craving but they wouldn't ask for water they would want blackcurrant/orange juice / lemonade / an icecream etc.. they aren't actually craving the specific juices just the water in them...

Please use a name, its getting annoying using guest all the time, if it is the same guest, who knows? Just pop it in the box just above your reply.
You can get some free forum software and you can set it so that people have to register before they can post. I can't remember the name of the software that I've used in the past, but there is a lot of free ones available for download. Most of them are highly customisable too.
Slightly out of left field, but can you curry dogs? Mine are really getting on my nerves today. Tandoori Yorkshire terrier and collie Madras will be on the menu if they don't start behaving themselves... (I'm only joking, I'm a vegetarian and I don't like cruelty.)
Yes it is me Lapis. My computer has packed up and am using a ol lap top. All keys don't work all the time!

Registration; Kavey and Pete have been thinking about introducing registration for last few years, but can't really give this site any more of their time at present. They do their best, but sometimes changes are slow.

Yeah, designing and running websites takes more time than you'd imagine it would. Plus with this forum containing so much information I doubt it would be an easy job to import all the data into a new forum -- if it's possible at all...
I like it as it is, one can 'drop in' when one likes, as long as you are on your toes, as you usually are.
It's an informal coffee morning, rather than an evening club.
This forum is great, but a search would be nice.
I have a workaround using google, in case someone else finds it useful:
"curry sauce" site:mamtaskitchen.com/board
would list all instances (except the newest ones) of curry sauce in the board

Oh, I do use the Search button for recipe searches, but I don't think it searches the forum.... I use google to search within the forum alone
That is such a clever yet simple idea Sangeeta. I must try Google to find older forum threads!
So THAT's how you search the forum, Sangheeta! I was puzzled how June did this, but then, I'm hopeless with computers. This could prove really useful.
