I live in USA and I have just started cooking. I am inviting a few friends for dinner next week. I think I have sorted out the menu, except for a dessert. Can anyone suggest an easy Indian dessert that can be made in advance?

There are a mountain of puddings on this site -
click on the Search button at the top,
Scroll down to where it says -
"Find recipes including [_____________] anywhere in the recipe name, keywords and ingredients."
Then underneath there are several tick boxes that you can select.
Simply click on the [_] Dessert
and then click on the GO button
Scroll down the page and you will see the complete list of puddings. As for which are quick, easy and able to be made the day before you will have to wait for some of the others as I'm not a big pudding fan.

Hi..sorry for the really late reply..but am sure this info might be of use in future too..making gulabjamuns are by far easy and can be prepared in advance..MTR OR GITS mix can be purchased and thy are pretty easy if directions are followed properly..To make it more exotic u could warm the gulabjamuns and serve with cold vanilla ice cream(ready made).
